Allison Phillips, M.Ed., is an instructor in the Department of Kinesiology and Health at the University of Texas at Austin. At UT, she teaches both basic physical education classes and teacher education classes for group fitness instructors and personal trainers. In addition, she works as a research assistant at UT. She is a highly regarded and sought-after speaker who makes presentations on a wide variety of fitness-related topics. Allison is a competitive triathlete who enjoys training with her husband, David, and playing with their two dogs, Lola and Junior.
