Gay Elliott is a renowned specialist in both older-adult fitness and cancer exercise, as well as being WaterArt certified. Often referred to as the countess of creativity, she has motivated participants and fitness leaders alike for over 30 years as a physical education teacher, fitness instructor, program director, older-adult exercise specialist, aqua-fitness instructor, and community-recreation leader. The owner of Aristo-Fit, she runs aqua-fitness programs at several Canadian venues. Gay was one of three finalists for the Montreal YWCAs Women of Distinction award and has received recognition two years in a row for being a leader in the older-adult certification program from Can-Fit-Pro.
