haha

I'm sorry I keep forgetting to edit out my "locker room" talk when I post here.

I pulled/strained the muscles in my forearms and around my elbows. So certain movements really both them.

I don't know if it was the BB rows or BB bench that did me in, but those are the only two things new that I've done.

eh.... I'll be fine in a couple of weeks.

Well, thanks for that crystal-clear explanation. Now I understand entirely.

Does anyone know if there have been an unusual number of complex changes to the federal tax code this year?

Don't know.

Sucks though.

Any sort of heavy weight in a curling or outward motion hurts like a bastard.

Seems to be getting better thou, so I shouldn't complain.

I was messing around with a suggestion you made but not sure I understand it.

Cable flies with pulls above the head? So, I guess you mean set the cables as if you were doign crossovers but, lie on a bench and do flies instead?

We tried this but it was kinda weird. Not sure I had it set up properly. Maybe should of gave it more of a chance. If it sounds like I was doing it right then i'll have another play around with it?

What we did end up doing though was lying face down on the bench, with the bench on an incline, and doing flies that way (high cables). It felt really good. For some reason - probably the line of pull from the cables - it keeps you very strict. You don't have as much of a tendancy to get the Biceps involved when it gets tough.

Actually, after thinking about this, I can see that i'm probably being an idiot and the high cables flies will most likely be done standing.

Regardless, the high cable face down on bench one is worth a shout anyway

LOL, yeah I do them standing. But the pully's are over my head and I'm pulling in and down.

The laying version sounds interesting though.

On day when the gym isn't busy I'll try it.

Yeah, my head was up my a$$. For some reason I thought there was a bench involved but when I came back on and read back, I realised what you meant.

The laying down one is pretty good. I guess the only difference from standing flies with the cables is that it forces you to be more strict. I done this with the 2 BB types I train and they really liked it but in fareness they like anything that gives them a pump. I really felt it but, I would anyway, since I don't really do anything like that.

If you do try it, it's better if you can have your chest hanging off the top of the bench.

behind the back cable lateral raises.

I got them off of a Kid online that goes by Bonez, so rather than type out ^ every time, I just started calling them bonez raises awhile ago.

Next time you feel like doing a video, do those. I can't seem to find one myself and I'm curious how it looks and how it works.

No problem. It is really just a cable raise, but the cable is behind your back instead of infront of you.

I use some body English to get the weight moving explosively.

Both hands at once, like with a cross-over set-up?
