Folks,

Does anyone know of a food tracker like Fitday that has metric measurements? I decided to give fitday a test drive...but it's maddeningly hard to measure...it always wants "cups" and "tablespoons" and ounces.

I measure everything (when I measure...) in grams. I don't really want to convert to ounces, and then list an approximation of the ounces, and then convert back. If I'm going to do that it'll take just as long to do it by hand.

Does anyone know other free food trackers that accept metric measurements? Something like this:

I recently returned to the UK. It was almost impossible to find high fat products in the UK. I couldn't find 10% greek yogurt anywhere.

I'm still dealing with FitDay. It's a useful tool, but damn, I spend so much time trying to add in food. It's geared to US food labels, too. So I add foods and I'm like, okay, 105mg of calcium per 100g....what's the USRDA percentage of calcium it provides per ounce? Ouch, my calculator hurts!

I'll keep looking and see what I turn it. I found one good site but it's not free...

Haha It's so funny that there are different measureing type american and then well the other. HAHA I think we should all go to the same metric? I don't care much. But i guess it sounds better like this in this corner weighing in at 247 lbs......compared to a lower number in kgs? Yea I'd convert. lol

The mixed systems is interesting, yeah, but common. How many grams of protein are there in a 1 ounce serving of protein powder?

Yeah, it can be confusing with the grams things. I've noticed that different bands have different serving size scoops. Could be 38 gr, could be 58 or abouts. I just have to look at the labels. Some 20-30 years ago, they were talking about shifting the US over to metric to try and standardize things, but I guess it never happened.

There is between 28 and 29 grams in an ounce. Obviously you guys teen years weren't as interesting as mine.

35 is really fat..........
