im thinking about taking creatine and fish oil for cutting i never tried neither before and i just wanted your point of view on it

Well I've never considered it, but I suggest doing the proper research first, try a google search, maybe ask one of the trainers at your gym what their opinion is, also, creatine has many commercial uses, make sure if you go for it that you're getting creatine engineered to help with weight loss (as opposed to muscle gain).

Good luck with whichever you choose.

I don't know how well it fits into a cutting regimen, but fish oil is perhaps the best supplement that you can take for overall health

Stephen has given you good info on fishoil, so I;ll only coment on the creatine. For cutting, I wouldn't even consider it. For strength , without caring about gaining a few pounds, I'd go for it. Creatine is a phosphorous compound that aids in fueling anaerobic metabolism, meaning for sort term, igh efficiency lifting, it will allow (by fueling) harder, stronger, contractions of the muscles involved in the activity. It also as the properties of drawing water in like a magnet. For the last reason alone, I would not advise it for cutting, although it probably would not have a negative effect on body mass . Like another poster has already said, do a bit of homework before shelling out the bucks. Know what the supplements are supposed to do, and check them out before you even consider them.

Great advise. Just 1 more word of caution. Do not take more then the recommended dosage of the fish oil suppliment. It can give you the runs. some people actually take it for constipation. Otherwise it's great just like already stated. Tim's right on with the creatine, so there ya go.

i just want more definition so i was thinking creatine would give me that i have only 12% bf but i still think i feel soft i just want rock hard body lol not that i need to cut or anything

Lift heavy in the 6 to 8 rep range. Try going to failure for a while too. That is the way to get fairly hard. Dropping a couple more pounds of fat can help too.

i always lift heavy or try to whats a good number of sets i usually do 4-5 sets of 10 reps and bench press is usually 5sets of 5 reps

If you are going to do the 6 to 8 to failure, which should be around 90%, 3 or 4 sets is good. You can do more, but it will overtrain you after a few weeks or so.

fish oil is a good fat, which oddly will help you get rid of the bad fats. Creatine will expand your muscles and make them more full.
neither of the two will work if you dont train properly, do cardio and have your diet in check. if you have those three vital elements worked out then use the supplements. I use both, creatine sometimes makes people look bloated if it does this to you stop taking it.
