I'm making a real effort to clean up my diet by eliminating easy carbs, which is mainly bread in my case.

I'm eating 5-6 times a day and lift 5 days a week

So i'm eating a quality portion of meat and veg for as many meals as I can handle. But because I lift, I still want to add mass and therefore I need calories. My main concern is I wont get the calories I need from the veg.

Soooo....my question is this..Is it okay to add cheese to improve the taste of my veg in order to add the calories?

I like olive oil and I eat LOADS of olives, I just dont think I could enjoy veg smothered in olive oil!

Regards,

Rik

Thanks for the response, good news! I love cheesy veg! I've been adding a little fruit recently, which is a major thing for meas i've never been a fan of fruit.

In terms of breakfast, are carbs acceptable first thing? My favorite is a wholegrain friut n' fibre with a huge scoop of peanut butter..yum!

Actually that was more of a typing problem. The punctuation was fine. I just missed the word "be".
