I'd never heard of the two different metabolic types she describes, but it just kind of reinforces what a lot of us have known for years, eat more fibrous fruit and veg, limit the grains and starches. I think the main roadblock to the lowered carb diets are the big food manufacturers. If everyone stopped going wild on all the sugary beakfast cereals, cookies and crackers, they'd be hrting.

I definitely agree. I should say I found it interesting just because it was on a mainstream webpage like yahoo's main page (AOL).
