No, that's not the concensus.

The consensus is to increase proteines AND FAT, and decrease carbs. Don't fear fats. You need them. They are your best primary energy source. Fats don't make you fat, carbs make you fat. Well, fats will contribute to getting fat if you are eating a lot of carbs AND a lot of fat.
