It's unfortunate that the show a hamburger with a bun. It would be better if they showed a picture of a steak. Note the authors are the ones that wrote the TNT diet.

Have you read the comments?

Man, they're special!

I think the Comments sections below "news" on websites is fast becoming my favorite source of amusement :)

That one old man, who was bragging about his intelligence while stating his education level, (recent high-school graduate) made me lol.

I didn't know that white eggs were bleached brown eggs. You learn something new every day.

"most of the foods listed cause huge acid in our bodies! "

For some reason reading those comments reminded me of a great thread where Kpj told us about sitting in on weight watchers meetings...

I can't understand how utterly aggressive/defensive/opinionated people are about concepts they have skimmed over in the "news"!

I remember a lecturer at Uni quoting a statistic that 9 out of 10 people read only the first third of any newspaper article. Considering newspaper journalism typically follows a pattern (see below) and we have a problem with detail:

Headline draws interest
First sentance summarises what the article is about
First paragraph effectively lists all the major points
Remainder fills in the details

I think it can be explained with this.

That's a good explanation for Frogbyte too.
