you'd think this post would be here already, or am I the only one obsessed with lists
Rules: no composite foods (sorry, no lasagna, no pizza, no fittata) unlimited seasoning, herbs, spices, condiments (hot sauce, vinegar) unlimited fresh water no limitations in cooking methods, pans, or utensils, or appliances processed foods like macaroni are allowed (hopefully we can see agree on the line between allowed processed foods vs the banned composite dishes) you will be alone, with internet access and a pc/ipad. But for these 10 years, no one wants to come and get you, Sorry. there are lots weights, kettle bells, duffles bags of sand, tires, ropes, and rocks to climb. no savages or animals to eat no access to fish, no land that will produce crops. All you eat comes from your list No spoilage, presume drop offs every 3 days, of the same food Pretend you can cook as good as your mamma, or me No escape - or you can pretend that escape is possible if you were to swim X miles, or chop enough wood to make a raft, and use that knowledge to shape a diet acccordingly.
You will be able to have an unlimted supply of a limited list of foods stuffs. Make the list keeping in mind your health and your tastes buds
I think it might be fun to crtique the lists, and see the variety and ideas we get
Rules for food 12 foods 3 beverages (+ water) 2 fats (yes, you can take Bacon as a food, and use the fat later)
My list:
Eggs Bacon Mackerel Beef tongue yams onions tomatoes kale Avacados blueberries yogurt pistachios
milk red wine Apple juice
butter olive oil
pretty much from top of head, may vary if I wrote it tomorrow, etc. your turn.
