Hi, I recently have been searching different kinds of oatmeal and the calorie value of each one of them. There's one brand that I always have at home, but analyzing it I have seen that it has way to many calories.

I know the package is in Spanish, so what it says is 300 calories for 1/4 of a cup(30 grams).

If we compare that amount to quaker rolled oats or other types of oatmeal they have 113 calories for 30 grams, so this 300 calorie number seems kinda strange.

So, my questions are:
Which type of oatmeal is this?
Is it good for diet compared to other types of oatmeal like quaker rolled oats?
and why does it have such a high calorie number compared to other oatmeal's?

It looks like those nutrients are based on 100g. It doesn't make sense why they would do it that way but that's the only way they fit.

Ohh, I see. It makes sense. Some companies do put the nutritional information based on 100 grams. Its like a standard I guess. Recently I was reading a package of Ligo raisins and it had the nutritional info based on 40g, but on the other side of the package there was the info based on 100g as well. So yeah, thanks.
