I often use the skinfold calculator/body composition to find body fat percentile, lean weight, and fat weight. I recently did an experiment where I kept all of the parameters the same except for age. This produced much different results for all categories mentioned previously. Why would this happen?

The formulas assume a certain amount of body fat other than subcutaneous fat. This generally goes up with age. There is no non-destructive way to directly measure this fat with a caliper. The best way to measure this is with a tape measure around your waist.

Is there a test that, along with all of the components already put into the skinfold calculator, also ask for waist measurement and height? (Just trying to get the most accurate comparisons.)
