I apologize if this was discussed before. This may seem like a dumb question but that's why we joined these forums.

When one says never do the same exercise on two consecutive days, does that include the rest day in between?

For example, my gym days are Monday, Wednesday and Friday. The other days are rest days.

If I do dumbbell presses on Monday is it ok to do the same dumbbell presses on Wednesday or should I wait and do them on Friday?
