I have two personal records. One is the all-time worst gym session I have ever had, today. I could barely deadlift 160 kg for 4 reps. With straps, even. I hadn't really eaten anything and felt lethargic and after the 160kg I felt like I was going to pass out.

However, the other is a good one. 4 x 180 kg deadlift, last monday. That's 2 x bodyweight, and also my old 1RM(From when I really tested it a couple of years ago, after which I quit working out and.. yeah.)

What Oscar and Stu said. ^^ ^^

I think client retention says a lot.

Here's a video of me getting my ass kicked by the "medicine route" grip obstacle course at the parkour gym. In my defense, you can see how much my stupid shoes are slipping on the wall, and this was at the end of the training session. I'm doing 6 weeks of training with the fat gripz, I'll give the route another go at the end and see how much better I do. I'll also have some decent shoes by then.

That hardly seems fair. Just think how old Jason will be in 20 years!

I'll be 49. Bring it! :angryfire:

Deadlift, 4 reps at 340 lbs. Thank goodness for the snatch grip.

To think my 1RM was 325 until about 3 months ago.

Last rep took about 1/2 hour or so, maybe longer. :joker: I thought I was done at 3 but my trainer said I could do one more. I knew if I couldn't crack it off the floor he'd let me stop, so when I felt it come off the floor I thought "oh no I have to finish it."

405 (4 plates) for one by year's end is starting to look very doable, with 495 (5 plates) looking likely before I die.

Okay, after 12 weeks of training, here are the results for my main lifts, all new PR's.
Deadlift: 145kg/319lbs. (prev. 135kg)
Back Squats: 140kg/308lbs. (parallel/below)
Bench Press: 80kg/176lbs. (prev. 75kg)
Overhead Press: 55kg/121lbs. (prev.52kg)
Barbell Row: 80kg (prev.77kg)

Bodyweight at this moment: 74kg/163lbs. Bodyweight has increased 2kg in 12 weeks, so I don't think it counts that much.

385 bench for 6 reps - I think I had 7 but my spotter grabbed it before I could grind it out. It felt good. One of those rare really good lifts. I think I could have gotten 455-460 today. I am started to smell 500 and think it just might be possible.

After visiting the gym with a couple of friends and purchasing a guest pass, i now know that i can squat and bench at least a hundred pounds @ 130lbs bodyweight. I can deadlift that amount also but i already knew that. Not very impressive compared to you guys, i know, but you should've seen how weak i was a year ago when i was first starting out! I'm also pleased that the stuff i've been doing at home (db floor press, gymnastic ring push-ups, saw horse squats, &c.) has been effective. I'll probably eventually join a gym anyway, though. Squatting in a rack was pretty fun.
