I currently do full body three days a week, Back squats, Heavy BB lunges, and front squats are in the mix right now. I'm thinking of dumping front squats for rack pulls. Thoughts?

Front squats are primarily knee dominant while rack pulls are primarily hip dominant. They're not even close. Why do you want to change? Are you doing any deadlifts right now?

I know that they are not equivalent in terms of body areas worked. I was mostly just trying to determine in terms of effort demanded whether it qualifies as a major movement e.g. bench, military press, cleans. I stopped doing full deadlifts a while back due to messing my back up doing something non-lifting related. My back has been good for a while now, it didn't hold me back from squats, and I'm looking to add a posterior movement as I don't think I need anymore knee oriented movements.

It's certainly a major movement. It's very CNS intensive. You need to do more reps though due to the shorter range of motion.

If injury is the issue, wouldn't a rack pull be more dangerous since the weight can be so much greater?
