If the sticking pt is off the chest on bench & right off the shoulders on presses, you might want to try pauses with moderate weight on both, and/or some static holds close to the bottom with good weight

The static holds are a good way to work eccentric contractions without the mess of doing full range negatives. Or is it isometric? Cool regardless.
