When it says ABCX, It's 3 days after each other 3 three different types of exercises each day but when I put that in a week time frame, does this means that you would work out only 3 days in a week and rest 4? I'm just a little confused because in the other workout splits the rest days have an X

Thanks in advance.

What that means is 3 days back to back, 1 day rest, then start over 3 days on, 1 day rest.

If you are looking to have a set schedule and lift three days a week, best way to split it would be push/pull/legs.

I like my weeks to look like this. xaxbxcxxaxbxcx = 2 weeks.

why let a "week" define your scheme
If it must, that one is not so good.

There are plenty of solutions listed on site that fit a week. That one just does not. It fits 4 weeks. My solution would be to evaluate whether your life is week-dependent, or not. Anecdotally, I find I prefer doing certain things on certain days. Being a M-F desk jockey, I find weekly schedules easier to fit in. But, it’s mostly psycological for me. Others, would be limited more. I found even though I often thought every other day over a two-week plan would be best, Tuesday nights are the best and Saturdays are the best says off. Anyway, I’ve been on UxLxULx for 10 weeks now.
I like my first response better.
