The function is disabled for new posters due to the large numbers that join just to post links to other sites. Once you've proven that you're legitimate, the mods will enable that feature.

No.

New users can't post links or use signatures.

Nobody is ever allowed to advertise anything here ever. I thought I made that clear in the sign up form.

You're also from Augere Bangladesh, not the US. Only an idiot would fall for that, or think anyone would fall for it. I probably have double your IQ, so anything you can think of is destined for failure.

IM, why do random words lead to advertising now? The word "sign" leads to an e-harmony ad. If the site is generating revenue, I'm all for it but it surprised me when I first saw it.

Really? On the main site or the forum? I guess James may have put new advertising on here. I can't see it though because I have adblock.

It's all over the forum. I've seen it on Robb Wolfe's site too. I just changed virus protectors so maybe that's why I see it now and I didn't before.

I'm probably going to reinstall Norton. I already have the license.

Well jkeat, I see you have port 53 open. How is the security on your DNS server? All patched and upgraded is it? I see your firewall doesn't handle port 39 properly. What about any browser software going out that interface? Is it all current? Are you big on encryption there, or do you send some stuff out plain text?

Do we understand each other now?

30 year old companies are rare in this business.

Yes, I remember Norton from when you were a kid. Norton still gets high ratings. I used Kapersky for a few years but I like Norton better.

The standard user edition of Norton turned into bloatware. The corporate is good though. However Symantec rebranded it under it's name name now. I use Symantec on my Windows machines. Anything but Macafee, that thing is worse than the viruses.
