Hi! I was wondering if someone here could help me with this:
I would like to have an Anywhere Routine that I could do... well, anywhere
One of the things I want to do is hiking so it's not like I could be taking weights with me.
What I want it's not a power training but more like a keep-fit training.
Also, of course, I want to be able to do it at home, so if it doesn't take too much space is good too :)

I would choose some bodyweight-exercises...

Push-ups and it's variations
Squats and it's variations
Hinges and it's variations
If possible, Pull-ups
Core exercises
Load your backpack with more weight when hiking
Sprints
Jumps

That's about it. The rep/set scheme has lots of options. It depends from variations and goals. Vary you rep ranges, vary density and rest, vary exercise volume. Simple stuff.

Rocks! You should be able to borrow a few rocks almost anywhere. You can bench them, overhead press them, clean them, snatch them, squat them, throw them, jump with them, swing them, even curl them. If you are with a companion, he or she can place a rock on your shoulders to do weighted push-ups, or place it over your sacrum for weighted planks, or on your waist in front to do glute thrusts.

And if you carry a short piece of rope, you can throw that over a branch, a beam, a swing frame, and do pull ups. Google "rope pulls".

Rocks, cinder blocks, large dogs and kids, jugs of water, boxes of books.....any of that stuff helps. Get stuff like a weight vest and a dip belt. You can get a door mounted chin bar too. Resistance bands could be of use too. Just make sure you get good ones.

Pardon me for jumping in, but it occurs to me to try re-packing my duffel bag in the hotel tonight and using it as a kettlebell for swings and for my first effort to learn TGU's.

historical note, "Duffel" is named for a town in Belgium, and I'm next door in Netherlands. Imagine that.
