This is from the exrx site.


"Lower weight to upper chest. Press bar until arms are extended. Repeat."

Isn't it supposed to be lower chest?
I'm very confused about this.
Which is correct?

In the description they use a "wide oblique overhand grip". In order to keep the elbows strictly vertical under the barbell, the barbell touches the chest higher than with a closer grip. So I guess thats where the confusion comes from... but it could also be a typo... ;)

Either way, I'd recommend lowering the barbell to your lower chest. Lowering the barbell to your upper chest on a decline or even flat bench press puts your shoulders in a very awkward position and could result in the barbell resting on your throat.
