Not if he's the anchor on his tug-of-war team.

Better make it before and after, just to be on the safe side.

Right. Sprint the prowler out to Baskin Robbins, get a cone, eat it, sprint it back. Repeat for 6-12 trips. Conditioning at its finest!

And after the first couple runs it'd get easier for me to slide the prowler along the silky smooth surface of ice cream puke.

You'd want to avoid ice cream with words like chip, chunk, or nut in the name, then. To avoid making the road too bumpy.

For those of you who don't normally follow my log, check the entry for 8/5/10 anyway. A prowler-only, one-move workout. Prowler sprints for 15 seconds, rest until my heart rate returned to merely "high," down from "I'm going to die." Worth a try if you don't feel like overthinking your workout. :D

I got hooked into the Biggest Loser last night. They have a big guy on there that competed or tried out for the Athens Olympic Wrestling team. He was in excess of 400 lbs and he is a beast training. He broke two treadmills running 12MPH.

I had to add that to not get my man card taken away for the next paragraph.

They showed several contestants pushing a Prowler last night. I predict you will see the Prowler's popularity increase in gyms all over the country. However, you will also see them rarely used because life sucks when you are pushing them.

Kettlebells were on Biggest Loser once a couple of years ago. I'm sure they jumped in popularity partly as a result of that show.

My girlfriend is obsessed with the biggest loser, and you're right Stu, ever since she saw kettlebells on it she's obsessed with them too. Wants to join a kettlebell class and everything, although her surname is Kettlewell and I think that has something to do with it.

Back to the prowler, I would LOVE to give it a try, but my gym doesn't have the space for it, and I'm too poor to afford my own.

I mentioned the prowler to my gym manager and he seemed to think it was a good idea. Mar is the end of our fiscal year so maybe there will be some year end money available.

If only they would do full deep squats on that show.

Hoose, I am not around at night to watch the biggest loser, but have seen some ads for it. I believe that guys name is Roulon Gardner, the Olympic Champ in Greco Roman wrestling back in the 2000 games. Big Dude , a farmer from Montana. Surprized the world when he actually beat the Russian back then. How'd they get him on the show? He never was what you'd call slim and trim.
