I've used Cybex. It's alright, but not real impressed.
Nor am I. Quote:
I have not used the other 3 as far as I remember. For the combination lever/pulley machines I have used Nautalis.
Original Nautilus
The original Nautilus make by Arthur Jones was good quailty equipment.
New Nautilus
Jones sold it long ago. The New Nautilus is a different animal.
The quality is questionable and the service rivals ICON.
Gear Trends Mangazine, a fitness equipment magazine for retailers, won the "Worst Service" catatory for a number of consecutive years, back to back to back.
In the last survey Natilus garnered a 40% in the "Worst Service" category. No other company came
close!
The commercial division isn't any better. Quote:
I've used a lot of Hammer Strength machines of those varieties. They're pretty nice.
Hammer is part of Life Fitness. Hammer is a good product.
Hammer was Gary Jones' (Arthur's son). Gary sold it to Life.
Life Fitness has good equipment and very poor service. Quote:
I've used Flex Fitness machines too, which are also pretty nice.
It is.
