Hi guys,

I am new to the forum and was hoping to get everyone’s opinions on

I don't use gloves, but I would recommend chalk.

I'll take liberty and loosely quote Mr. Rippetoe on this one...

Any type of workout glove that matches the color of your purse is good.

I have small, sensitive hands as I work in the medical field. I found a good fingerless padded hand glove at Target for like $10 that has lasted me for years. They don't slide off and they're purple and black :)
