I find working out a great stress reliever. When it's a tough day, I start obsessing over whether I'll make it to the gym after work.
A certain social element helps me, whether a workout partner or just friends there at the same time (everyone where I live are friends, so it doesn't matter who is there, they are friends!), but I can work out alone at times, and enjoy thinking my own thoughts and dancing a bit between sets (hoping no one is peeking in the windows).
Music is also important to me, although I'm guessing most of you would find my music pretty tame! I don't think I'll upload a play list. I can listen to my 18 year-old's music, but I find my 43 year old friend's tastes a bit conservative. At 55 I actually like it harder than he does. I can listen to classical , jazz, contemporary Christian, or Christian rock while I'm working out. That reminds me, I need to put some new CDs in the bag for next time.
