Ok, so I know this kinda an odd place to ask this question, but apple's website/forums weren't exactly too helpful. I just got a 4th gen ipod that has a lithium rechargable battery which supposedly lasts around 500 charges. At the end of the battery life you can send it to apple and for 80 bucks, they'll send you another ipod. My question is if the battery does die completely, and I don't want to spend 80 bucks, will the ipod still work at this point if it's plugged into a power source? I know there is a lot of techies here
