I can't walk for more than 15 minutes before I need to rest and I've been prone to shin splints since forever. Now the physician gave exercises to improve my condition as well as a prescription for orthosis for my shoes. I don't know about you but in my corner of the world (Quebec, Canada) these are sold for at least 400$.
What I simply need is a shoe insert with arch support in order to develop it, won't the 30$ drug store variety or even running/walking shoes that has arch support will suffice or do I really need the custom made-came down from heaven ones that only specialized store can offer?
Any of you had the same problem? which way did you go and did it improve your condition?
