Research Update

Increases in strength have been shown when a subject shouts during exertion, or if a pistol is fired near the subject shortly before the test procedure

I would think that it would help getting everything to fire at once, improving starting power. It would be more of a synchronization thing.

This is a service that gyms could offer. Trainers would walk around, and instead of warning of the dangers of squatting past perpendicular, they'd just discharge firearms at rendom times. More helpful to the clients, more fun for the trainers.
