Hi everyone
My name is Oron, and I'm from Israel
I'm actually on Hi-Tech field, but as much as it satisfying salary-wise, it is not interesting as sports (at list for me...)

I'm considering doing PTC at ACSM + Exercise Science (BSc..I think it has B.A and BSc)
I don't know if I'll work in the field (I saw the avg salaries - not that good regarding the investment on it), but I surely want the knowledge.

The problem is that this field is not really developed in Israel, and I'm looking for Online Degree
I'm getting quite confused, because I actually understand nothing from all the universities\collages sites around the world

I'm wondering if you can help me find the right thing for me, according to these criteria:

1. Online Degree
2. Enough Credits (I saw 41 credits B.A at Concordia, which does not make any sense)
3. Internationally well known university\collage - By well known I mean that nobody will say that I've learned at some crappy institute - I want a decent one
4. Well..tuition & scholarships (if there are any for internationals students) - Degrees in Israel do not cost 30K a year - It is 9K for collage and 3K for universities (per year of course), so my budget is limited..very limited - maybe I should pass the degree and stay with certificates

Sorry for the long post

Thanks :)

Online shouldn't cost 30K a year. As an example, a quick Google search turned up this: http://online.csp.edu/adult-undergradua ... se-science

Cost is $420 per credit hour with 41 credit hours for a degree. That's $17K over 4 years. That sound pretty reasonable to me.

I have no idea if that program is any good. It's just an example.

You can't add links until the moderator adds the capability. Generally that means until you shown you're not here to spam. Send a PM to Ironman and he'll give you the capability.

If the degree is from an accredited institution, no one is going to care where it's from. Big-name, internationally known universities either don't have on-line programs, or they are very expensive, or they are very hard to get accepted to.

And where can I find these accredited institution?
I found this list: www. acsm .org/find-continuing-education/cec-cme-opportunities/approved-providers (just delete spaces near acsm  )
Does it mean that every degree related to acsm's subject is OK?..Including exercise science...?

UPDATE:
I don't think this list includes degrees
So what does accredited institution mean?

You will be able to post links now. There is a post threshold to get out of the "newly registered" group, but in some cases, such as this one, I remove the user from that restricted group before they reach the threshold.

"Accredited" means that an accreditation agency (different for different types of institutions, and even for different programs within the institution) has evaluated the program, and found it to be in compliance with established standards. That includes the qualifications of the faculty, the selection of courses required, the results of the students scores on qualifying exams, etc. The school has to prove that they are doing a good job. I have been around as either a student or a close relative of a department chairman when this was taking place, and it's a big deal.
