When I do cardio, I do 1 min sprint then 1 min walk. Currently Im doing them at 8.5mph then 3.5mph. The goal is get up to 10mph and then increase the incline. This is basically my version of HIIT.

Is this an efficient way of doing cardio?
Is there anything I should change?

1 Minute Sprint

A one minute sprint is more of an illusion.

12 Seconds

In a true sprint, you tapped out in about 12 seconds.

After that you speed drops like a rock.

20-30 Seconds

In twenty to thirty seconds, you speed drops again.

30 -60 Seconds

You hang on while you speed dwindles.

It is somewhat effective.

Work-Recovery

1) Work: Sprint Time 12-20 seconds.

2) Recovery: Walks 1-2 minutes.

This is a method that works...
