I dont know if this is a stupid question but would doing front babrell raises be a good way to work the lateral delts too? just like military presses do a good job with lateral delts?

PS: i really need an answer as soon as possible because i workout today.

No. They'll get some work, but it would be better to do a few sets of side raises, too. And don't forget to do a few sets of rear raises for the read head.

The workout templates separate front and side deltoid exercises, so my guess is that neither exercise is really good at targeting the side (lateral) deltoid

Front barbell/dumbbell raises work side delts less than military presses. This is because front raises are a front delt isolation exercise, while military presses are a compound movement.

matt hit the nail on the head in that post ^^

try doing dumbbell raise
http://www.exrx.net/WeightExercises/DeltoidLateral/DBRaises.html
it targets the lat delts and is assisted by rear delts
