Just when you thought you'd seen it all.

Interesting concept, but I'm not too impressed with the elastic band presses. Also, it's a little strange that they show a drawing super-imposed on their photo instead of a photo of a model using the bench. It makes it hard to judge the actual scale.

I'm not sure it's in production yet. The drawings say it was a winner of a concept contest. I guess the biggest upside to this thing is, if the enthusiastic couch potato that buys it loses interest in training, he still has an ottoman to rest his feet on.

I've always found combination devices interesting, but somehow they don't seem to work out. I'm still waiting for my car-plane. In Popular Mechanics magazine in the 60s this was promised to be common by now.

They need to come up not only with a choice of colors, but of style. What if your living room is French Provincial decor? You'd have to add flowers and frills, which would, of course, make it popular with the weight lifters everywhere.

It looks like they considered at least 10 colors according to this panel.

Now, if they would only offer matching gloves and lifting belts!

And I’m still waiting on that Car-Plane myself!

Just put paper over it and it would look like the thing you lay on at the doctors office. You just need some stirrups and you could have some fun with it.

You always raise posture issues. Using an exam table this low would definitely strain the poor old doctor's back. But the idea of pulling out a barbell and doing a few lifts between patients has it's appeal.

Telling me I could have fun with an exam table would be like telling a plumber that he could have fun with a pipe wrench!

It depends on where you stick the pipe wrench.

I can sure have some fun with customer servers. They tend to frown on that though.

No offense Ironman, but "Turn your head and cough" isn't exactly my idea of a good time.
