Good job on the 100# bench. It shows what you're capable of. I notice you've been at the same weight for a while, 3x7 @ 80# on the bench and 3x7 @ 100# on the squat. Put the weight up and lets see some new personal bests. Increase the weight on the deadlift as well. It might be better if you left the 5-7 range for a while and went 3-5 instead. Alternating that with a high rep (8=12) workout may help.

Yeah, congrats on the 100# bench.

Is that 100# + bar or 100# total? I remember you had some trouble determining the weight of the bar you had.

I'd second Stuward here. You've been doing this routine for a while, and you see stuck at 7 x 80# on the bench and 7 x 100# on the squat. If you can't budge them upwards, you might want to try another routine. Starting Strength is pretty similar to what you're doing. You can also try Westside for Skinny Bastards. It'll even let you do curls. :)

A change is as good as a holiday. :D

^_^

i'm stalling on the weights purposely since i feel like i'm just starting again because of the holiday break. and to be honest, after the break, the 100# squat felt heavy so i'm going to keep lifting the weights until i get back to my comfort zone

i don't count the bar weight

thanks for the look out guys ^_^

You ought to give yourself credit for the bar, too. You're lifting it.

The thing is, until you lift weights heavier than 100#, 100# will always seem heavy.

When 155# was just about my maximum bench press, it always felt brutally heavy. Now my 3RM is 175#, maybe a little higher. 155# feels light.

Keep it moving up and 100# will start to seem light in retrospect.

You should find out how much that bar weighs, too. Sneak the scale over to the weight pile and weigh yourself with and without the bar, then do the math.

:D
