 Post subject: Forearms and Calf sets

Is there any reason forearm and calf sets should be done with higher reps (I heard 12-15). This is supposedly because they're smaller muscles, but my calf muscles are probably the strongest muscles on my whole body (in terms of how much weight I can do on calf exercises).

No they are just muscles like everything else. Train them the same. My calves and forearms are big and in preportion with my other muscles. I don't get all this stuff about this muscle is better or this one lags and such. All my muscles are even, because I work them that way. Most people do better with chest then I do, because I never did the frat brat workout.

I don't know what it is but people always think certain things are magic. Calves and abs are the ones. They come up with some silly reason why they have to do some really bizzare protocol for whatever muscle. I have found low weight, high reps and training it almost everyday equels crap. That is abs and calves.

Why do so many people have 13 year old girl calves? 20+ rep sets......
