I scored a
2

1: Typically turn on my music walking out of the Locker Room

8: Yes, I sometimes try and convince "Myself" Walking/running/elliptical machine is a leg workout and could be the cause of poor squats or whatever else I am doing for my "True" Leg Workout.

I was going to give myself 0.5 for this but decided not to. I don't wear an ipod very much anymore because i'm always training with someone. When I did wear one, I couldn't switch it on FIRST because foam rolling is the first thing I do when I get to the gym and the Ipod get's in the way.

I suspect either Mike or someone like him wrote this i.e. someone who doesn't train in commercial gyms. I never found an Ipod particularly comfortable but there's 2 good reasons to have one when you train,

1. The music in commercial gyms is always crap.
2. In a commercial gym, and Ipod is like a 'leave me a lone, don't speak to me' signal. It helps you just get through things which isn't very 'geeky' at all.

But it's just a bit of fun so it doesn't matter.

I squat and/or Deadlift on Monday (or Tuesday)

Bench is Wed (speed or rep day) and Sat (max day).

I scored a 2!

I usually bench on Mondays. But, in my defense, it's because I usually train events on the weekends. I also use an MP3.

Hmm I use batting gloves, does that give me a 1? The labeled weight-lifting gloves are too thick to give good feel for the bar.

I'm so excited! This is probably the only thing I will ever beat most of you guys on. I'm a clean, honest 0!

Also the first time I ever bragged about being a zero.

Incidentally are 1/2 chinups the top half or the bottom half?

Usually the middle half, neither all the way up, nor all the way down.

Yes - I would of said the weakest part for most/all people is the top. Getting the chin over the bar and/or chest to bar. I know Mike Boyle prefers the chest to touch the bar so he probably means this. However, most that cheat with pull ups won't go all the way up or down, and do reps in the middle portion only, as Jungledoc said.

Hmm I hadn't considered that half. :) Agreed that the hardest peak is about 3 inches from getting chin above hands. However I think the second-hardest peak of effort is when the upper arm is roughly parallel to the ground. But the parallel point mainly just feels like biceps, whereas the point close to the chin feel more holistic with lats.
