Why the anterior deltoid is the main muscle in 'shoulder press'?
In which book/website can i find relevant article/research about it?

That is because it is a pressing exercise. Any pressing is done mostly with the anterior deltoid. Whenever you push the way you are pointing your hands it is mostly anterior delts. Either type of flexion articulation uses anterior delts primarily.
