I don't have an ipod. I have another type of cheap mp3 player that lets me listen to the radio. Can't stand the music played at the gym.

I have gloves. Don't use them anymore. Use tissue paper instead.

I often say, "I don't criticise anything i've not been guilty of". Kind of the same thing... I wouldn't worry about it...

I don't think Ipods are bad either. They probably would be in a 'real gym'. I can't imagine one of the westside guys training with an Ipod. In a commercial gym, though, they say to people "don't bother me", so they're more of a good thing in my view.

5.

1- Is the first thing you do when you get on the gym floor put on your IPOD? (Not an ipod, but my phone mp3player + bluetooth wireless headset)
2- Have you ever called anyone “Bro” in the gym? (Oh well)
3- Do you lift more than once a month in a tank top or have you ever contemplated cutting the sleeves off a shirt with a collar? (I lift in tank tops sometimes)
6- Do you bench every Monday? (Benching when everyone else does motivates me, as I thrive on competition)
9- Have you ever muttered the phrase “All you” at the end of a friends bench press set? (Def have)

Never used gloves, I've got callouses like woah and I love it.

Also, of the 5 I do, I doubt any of them would make me 'that guy' at my gym.

I think being 'that guy' is heavily dependent on your size - nobody ever calls the biggest guy in the gym 'that guy' really.

Fold them into a narrow strip and put them over your callouses before gripping the bar. Helps the grip because the pain you feel is the exercise and not distracted by the callouses pinching.

ipods suck. People using them end up sitting on machines and it is hard to work in. Plus they should just be concentrating on their workout. Zone into that.
