To the OP-

Realistically, you can have a small portion of almost any indulgence you don't need to ask about every food under the sun. Just remember- with anything other than real foods like meat, veggies, nuts, and fruits, eggs, etc, just make it a SMALL indulgence. I was simply stating that OJ itself isn't a bad indulgence to have, compared to cupcakes or cookies for sure.

The only problem with OJ is it's so easy to get huge amounts of rapid sugar intake. Of course that's just another plus if you're trying to gain mass.

I like to just put a splash of juice into carbonated water. Good flavor, and it keeps the sugar intake down.

Well, diluting it's fine, sure, but you shouldn't sip on acid and sugar all day unless you don't care about your teeth rotting.

Bananas don't actually have much potassium. You do much better with a tablet. If you really want to get a lot of potassium, get some Atkin's shakes.

Or eat Kiwis. They have a lot less sugar and lots of potassium. Or you could eat spinach.

You get potassium from almost all vegetables and fruit. You even get a substantial amount from dairy. As long as you eat adequate green leafy stuff, you probably don't have to worry about it. If you're not eating lots of green leafy stuff, you need to start for a whole lot of reasons.

I suspect the RDAs for a lot of nutrients (such as potassium) are way out of whack, because they're assuming you'll be eating lots of bread and having nutrients get leached out of your body.
