Also, I squat pretty deep ... well below parallel.

I took it easy on squats yesterday since:
A) I had no spotter,
B) It was later in the day than I usually train and
C) I haven't performed too well on squats lately.
I also had to cut my workout a little short, because the gym was closing.

I cut my workout short today after hurting my left oblique on my first set of Straight-leg Deadlifts. Hopefully it's nothing serious.

I hope it's no big deal. I enjoy watching your numbers climb.

Thanks. It kinda scared me when it happened. I felt a pop/bulge and at first I thought it was a hernia, but in hindsight I think I just pulled a muscle. It's feeling a lot better today, and I'm hoping it'll be back to normal in a few days.

Gradually improving, but it still hurts when I sneeze.

In that case, you should reduce sneezing volume significantly until you heal up.

Lifted today for the first time since I hurt my oblique. So far, so good.

And throwing up 185 25 times is pretty impressive at any time!

I don't think you ever answered my speculation about your job (I think I said longshoreman or stone mason or something as my guess). What do you do?

I went up to 100 lbs x 2 for 5 reps each leg on Dumbbell Step-ups today (I just started doing these). I was using a fairly low step. Next time I think I'll use a bench, which is a little higher.
