There is no one movement. Usually any exercise out there will be more one than the other.

You could do trap bar deadlifts. With the bar forward of the ankle, it's a deadlift, behind the ankle, it's a squat. You should be able to find a point where quads and hamstrings are balanced. If you do them from a deficit it would probably work even better as a glute exercise.

Many moons ago Stu shared a research paper that addressed muscle activation for deadlift variations that might be helpful. You can try searching for it.
I've always thought of squats as being quad dominant and DLs for hams and glutes primarily.

Unfortunately I am working. I have a job which keeps me on the computer
And as a new lifter, like to spend time learning and laughing.
I find this site provides both
Thank you for your concern

I would say if you are doing deep squats below 90 degrees you should be hitting your hamstrings. Also try lunges i do walking lunges with heavy dbells and it tears my hamstrings and glutes up. Also while deadlifting it definitely hits your glutes and back usually known as a full body workout but I am not certain how much of the lift actually hits your hamstrings. Try light weight good mornings maybe light weighted straight leg dead lifts or even leg curls although isolation work seems to be overkill for most people doing compound olympic lifts.

John, the admin e-mail is on the site. Just let me know which user name and I can put any e-mail on there you want and give you a temporary password, which you can change the next time you log on. So which one do you want? Manofsteel319 has more posts, but manofsteel1385 has more recent posts.

So how's the modeling been going?
