sorry to immediately divert the topic but I'm sure someone else with a sissy grip will come in and help.
What are you doing now to help your grip, other than deadlifting heavy ?
For me, I'm almost afraid of straps, even though my grip can be a limiting factor, and I dont lift heavy. But, I'm concered I'l, out pull my ligaments/tendons, like Hanz and Franz!, no, but sorta.

I do wrist curls and reverse wrist curls for direct isolation, heavy DLing and heavy rowing as general work, plus Pulls/Chins.
My grip has improved a bit but it still fails way before "the rest" does.
