What workout days should I do these on?

These are two variations on the basic SS program that include pull ups and chin ups.

Ahhh, it's good to say...

I can now tighten my belt to FOUR belt holes instead of just three.

on the deadlift feeling heavy...

Are you pushing hard through the heels when getting it up off the floor?
Are you keeping it close to shins ?
Lower back tight and nuetral ?

I'm sure all of those questions are answered via video, to myself and for everyone to pick apart, lol. I'll get a video next time I do deads to post up and see.

*wave*

Yeah, I've been gone away for some time now. Some really bad times in between... but I'm back now, got myself situated, eating right, and getting the right sleep.

First bit of exercise today, not sure if I overdid it. I just took 20% off of all my max lifts from my last few workouts and threw em up. I'll get the results posted in the workout log.

Good to be back. :headbang:

Don't count me out yet guys & gals. I've been gone a bit but I'm fighting back... Just difficult to handle the work load I have on me now and not want to revert back to my laziness. One of my family members left the bakery business, so I've been staying up at night shift to do the baking for the morning, taking a quick nap in the office and then waking up to do paperwork in the morning. I think I have a groove down now where I can get everything done and still get a decent amount of sleep in.

I know, I know... excuses excuses. I keep hearing a condescending voice in my head going over a snippet of one of nygmen's sayings. Something like 'weightlifters make other things work around their weightlifting schedule' or 'weightlifter just find a way to do it, regardless', lol.

Thing is, I'm not at that point yet, still a newb. Trying to get to that point though.

Anyways, I need to loose some weight quickly for a test that I'm going through. I'm working on my eating, no bread, pastas, or heavily processed sugars... yeah, yeah, fine.

On to the suject of metcons. Are short 10 minute metcons scattered throughout the day good? If so, what would be some really good ones?

Thanks

Sure.

See the sticky on complexes on the general forum.

Glad to see our around again! Hang in there.

If you want a quick and effective 10 minute metcon, try kettlebell swings. Of course just doing some aggressive bodyweight squats or pushups will do if you have no equipment, and last but not least, burpees.
