A part of me hopes it's drug related or, an evil part of me hopes it's some kind of emotional break down... As if he woke up, spilled his morning coffee on himself, tripped up on the way out of the door, car breaks down on the way to (school?) work, only to realise come lunch time he's forgotten his wallet and can't eat for the day, leaves work to walk for bus (since car broke down) only to get soaked by a passing car speeding through a big puddle. Sits on bus next to diagnosed paranoid schizophrenic (which in the right mood can be entertaining), missed his stop, has to walk miles back home, then realised he left his keys at work. At this point I imagine he just throws himself through his house window, logs into exrx, sees your head band in high pull video and *boom* the switch has been flipped.
And here we are...
It just makes the story so much more entertaining (for me, anyway).
