Decided to start a log in hopes that it will keep me honest and motivated.

My stats: 23 years old, 5'9, 163lb
Goals: Becoming stronger, run more, and increase my conditioning.

Schedule:
Lifting 2x a week
Grappling 3-4x a week
Stand up 3x a week
Conditioning 2x a week
Shoulder rehab 3x a week

Maxes:
Deadlift: 300 (May 9th 2012)
Squat: 225 (May 14th 2012)

Notes:
Due to a shoulder injury I won't be doing any kind of pressing for a while.

Goals:
Deadlift: 300 x 5 (August 22nd 2012)
Squat: 255 (August 26th 2012)
Do conditioning/running/jumping rope 2x a week consistently
Run 3 miles under 21 minutes (August 21nd 2012)
Run 5 miles under 40 minutes (August 25nd 2012)

Morning: Kickboxing

Evening:

Squats

155 x 5
175 x 3
195 x 4
215 x 2

Felt somewhat weak. Had to really work to get the 2 reps on 215.

Deadlift

180 x 5
205 x 5
235 x 5
250 x 3

Felt good. Definitely gave myself plenty of time to recover from my last squats session.

Need to start easing back into running. It's been over 2 months since I've ran. I plan on getting one run in before the end of this week.

Squat

140 x 5
160 x 5
185 x 7
205 x 4

Felt good on squats today. Was aiming for 3 on 205 and was able to squeak out one more. Definitely was using the stretch reflex/momentum to get out of the hole for 205.

Didn't run at all last week. Here's to hoping I can fit one in this week.

Form broke down a little on the last set. Happy getting 5 reps on it though.
