Rest day.

***

Wanted to work out, but I broke out in an allergic reaction - and it's terrifically hard to get motivated to move around when I'm itchy and on meds.

Rest day. Lots of stair climbing, though.

Knee ached today, so I think I'll skip Monday's Prowler workout and do it Tuesday instead.

Afternoon: Workout

Warmup: Mobility drills, inc. x-band walks

1) TKE - 2 x 20 each x orange band
2a) One Arm Row (left only) - 3 x 10 x #14
2b) One Arm Bench Press (left only) - 10 x 45, 50, 50
15 minute EDT
3) Prowler (High handles only) - 26 one-way trips @ Prowler + 180
4) Curl (left only) - 2 x 15 x 20, 30 seconds rest
5) Rotational Tube Chop - 2 x 10 each x yellow tube

***

Just what I had in me today.

TKEs - as usual, these feel good.

One-arm stuff - rows were good, I felt those but not too heavy to keep good form. Presses were fine. I probably had 55 in me but why push too fast?

Prowler - I was dreading this. 24 trips was hard last time, I was tired, and I didn't feel like doing it. But I did it. I had time for a 27th trip but I'd have to have pushed it back across the gym after the time ran out, and I hate doing that. 26 is fine, all things considered.

Curls - guns for fun.

Chops - some light ab work to finish up.

Overall I felt good after this workout. Next week is a deload of sorts.

Rest day. Some walking, but otherwise, resting.

***

My allergic reaction is back in full force, so my sleep is terrible right now and I'm not sure I'll be up to a workout tomorrow. But I'll try to do my rehab-type stuff at least.

Went for walk early, before the winds started gusting. Spent the rest of the day indoors riding out Sandy.

Power out from Hurricane Sandy. Went for a walk to check out the damage - not much of a walk, not much (visible) damage.

Some walking - can't get to the gym, so just hiking around to the market for food.
