So out of this list, what would you recommend? Most seem rather pale, except for the Festbock. I'm more a fan of darker beers, red ale, bitter, stout, etc, especially Irish.
most of the beers from the list are wheat beers from bavaria, the best of them is definately erdinger wheat ale. i don't drink dark beer, but on the list are erdinger dunkel and warsteiner premium dunkel (dunkel = dark), i think they are both good. i only drink pilsner, which is sometimes also called lager in the us, best pilsner on the list is krombacher. i always have krombacher pilsner or veltins pilsner (not on list) at home. they are both a bit watery, but i like that, cause you can drink a ton of watery beer. it's really good for parties.
