Well you guys are either going to laugh or try to shoot me. I'm going to go back on what I said and I'm going to add to and rearrange the workout program.

Why? Well one I work out in my home gym which has limited space. In order to do the workouts in the order that is recommended I have to do a lot of moving around of my equipment...I found out today that this is not time efficient. I have to arrange my workouts so that they flow together without doing a whole lot of rearranging the room. So with that said, I'm going to do 5 sets of 5 repetitions of the exercises that I will be doing, but it will not be the Stronglifts 5x5 program. And yes Mehdi does have a funny accent! He's from Belgium, but to him I would probably have a funny accent as well.
The most important thing for a beginner to do is
begin. Start lifting. If re-arranging the program gets you over a hump to get started and keep going, then do it.
If your re-arrangment lets you move weights 3 days/week and increase the weight, then have at it!
Every single lifter changes their program. You will too. As soon as whatever you are doing now does not allow you to progress any more, you will change it. Nobody shoots anybody or laughs at anybody, we make progress and then we adjust when progress stops.
Just let us know how it works out!
