Oh, Oscar. I hate to admit it, but that is almost exactly what I was going to say. Now I'm worried about both of us.

I have a "provisional" date for my first competition - 3rd March.

There's been a screw up in the federation because the calender for the following year is normally decided just before xmas but, due to people being away or whatever, this meeting won't happen till the 10th of feb so the calender for this year is delayed. People on the committee in my area have booked the gym for this date and it just needs confirmed now at this meeting. So it's pretty certain.

Nothing is ever straight forward with me. Getting anxious to get it paid for etc so it's all official but won't be in that position until after the 10th Feb.

Just a random rant/ramble..

Lifting starts at 11. I'm not sure how it works in terms of order of lifters, but pretty sure it's lightest bodyweight first. If it's busy it could go on till 4-ish in the afternoon. Some of them are quite quiet but this one is normally pretty busy.

I have a lot of clients who want to go, plus training partners and some friends, family, and other gym members (and staff). Plus one of my clients, who is now one of my training partners, is competing, too. She has a lot of people coming, too.

I went and seen a comp here a few years ago and it was quite busy. Think they're could be a decent atmosphere. The scottish competitions are a far cry from the american ones which always look very lively. Some of them let you choose entrance music!

CCCXII ?

Ah cool link Stu.

but did Romans really use these or was it like caligraphy? Pretty but not used in everyday
They had the concept of p0wers of 10. Seems adding and multiplying would be as we do

Is that obvious, or am I as ignorant as I fear?
