I have always known that for every gram of stored glycogen in muscle and liver it holds three grams of water. I even see this information on this website.Glucagon (in title)
I am looking for some additional sources that state this information, preferably any published research that also discuses how depleted glycogen stores contribute to weight loss. Does anyone have any? If you cannot share the link as that is blocked on the forum, please let me know the search query you used to find a result with the information or the name of the website.
Thank you in advance for any help you can provide.
Glucagon is a hormone. It is completely different from glucose.
There is plenty of information on how glucose cause water storage.
It is a dieuretic, just for you're information.
