Zach has won both the American Open Weightlifting Championships and Collegiate National Weightlifting Championships multiple times. He also won multiple silver and bronze medals at the National Weightlifting Championships and competed at the Olympic Trials in 2008. Schluender represented the USA (Team USA) in two World Weightlifting Championships and a Pan American Weightlifting Championship.
Zach completed his Bachelors Degree in Exercise Science from Truman State University in the Spring of 2005. From 2006 to 2008, Zach was a resident athlete (by invitation) at the Olympic Training Center in Colorado Springs, Colorado. In 2009, he earned his Master’s Degree in Kinesiology and Wellness from Louisiana State University. In a college setting, Schluender taught classes, including Weight Training, Strength and Conditioning, Basketball, and Biomechanics at University of Kansas and Louisiana State University.
From 2013-2014, Zach worked at a physical therapy clinic in Shreveport, Louisiana as an exercise physiologist for a year and a half helping strengthen patients with various injuries and conditions ranging from neck, low back, shoulder, elbow, knee and hip injuries to fibromyalgia and chronic fatigue syndrome. Coach Schluender has worked with athletes and patients of all ages and abilities.

Purchase 5 sessions for $340 and save 20% ($68/session). Sessions can be used for either online consultation sessions (up to one hour) or customized program designs (1 month program). New clients will need to schedule an initial consultation so their customized program can be designed accordingly, resulting in a minimum of 2 sessions. Other sessions can be used for online trainings, additional consultations, or program design for subsequent months.
