Martin Hagger, PhD is Professor of Psychology at Curtin University. His research applies social cognitive and motivational theories to understand and to intervene and change diverse health behaviours such as physical activity, eating a healthy diet, smoking cessation, alcohol reduction, anti-doping behaviours in sport, and medication adherence.

Martin will discuss the techniques that elite athletes use to prepare psychologically for their sport.
